A new plan from federal Chief Information officer Steve Van Roekel is supposed to improve Federal IT acquisition. He introduced it at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing yesterday. Dan Chenok of the IBM Center for the Business of Government was one of the witnesses at the hearing, testifying in his role as executive vice chairman of the Industry Advisory Council, part of ACT IAC.
