Wreaths across America

This week on “Fed Access”, host Derrick Dortch speaks with Col. Jane Davies, director of Operations, and Lt. Col. Paul Cianciolo, public affairs officer, with National Capital Wing of the Civil Air Patrol.

They will discuss Wreaths Across America, which takes place on Saturday December 17th, when volunteers will place wreaths on the graves of veterans  at Arlington National Cemetery and more than one thousand cemeteries around the country.

Later in the show, Col. Davies and Lt. Col. Paul Cianciolo will discuss the history and mission of the Civil Air Patrol, which is an auxiliary of the United States Air Force.

They will also explain the role the non-profit organization plays in disaster assistance, emergency operations and search and rescue missions.
