Gridlock alert: Disruptions start this weekend

Federal workers are expected to be on the job this coming Monday and Tuesday, despite downtown gridlock when the international nuclear summit convenes in the Washington Convention Center. But they are urged by the Office of Personnel Management to telework or carpool. Federal workers can also use alternate work schedules. More than 40 heads of state will be in town and they’ll require a big security cordon. Mount Vernon Square Metro stop will be closed, cars and buses rerouted. We get the latest details from reporter Adam Tuss with sister-station, WTOP.
