Operation Homefront honors military children on the front lines

Children who grow up as members of military families face unique challenges. Their parents can be away for long deployments, or return wounded or disabled. To recognize the contributions to military life of such children, the non-profit Operation Homefront launched the Military Child Award, with backing from Lockheed Martin. Jim Knotts, CEO of Operation Homefront, and this year’s winner, Willie Banks the third, tell us more about the program and what it takes to be a winner.
