Carnegie Mellon and Lockheed open cyber lab

Lockheed Martin and Carnegie Mellon University are cyber security lab partners. The Pittsburgh Business Times reports that the defense contractor has officially opened a new cyber lab devoted to cyber security research, and will work closely with CMU faculty. Initially, the lab will house one full-time Lockheed staffer and will serve as a work area for part-time people who would travel to Pittsburgh from Washington, D.C. The office also has space for six CMU interns and one faculty member.
