Foreign militaries on board the Humvee wagon

AM General, LLC of South Bend, Indiana has received a $164 million contract from the Army. The company will build 763 various models of the High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV or Humvee). The trucks aren’t for U.S. use, though. They’re intended for sale to the Afghanistan and Jordanian militaries. They’ll be built in Mishakawa, Indiana and completed by January 31.
