NDU’s iCollege honored for cyber defense efforts

A cyber threat workshop gets top honors from the Defense Department. A team of faculty from National Defense University’s iCollege was recognized for developing the online cyber defense workshop and for fostering global collaboration on cyber defense issues.

The event brought together more than 200 people from DoD, international defense organizations, industry and academia. The workshop centered on realistic examples of identifying cyber threats, like the STUXNET worm, and responding to them. It also highlighted risks to critical infrastructure like power grids.
