Efforts to make agencies more efficient are popping up across government.

The latest entity hoping to streamline operations is the Broadcasting Board of Governors. The board wants to re-invent international broadcasting by consolidating three of it’s broadcast networks. Details are being laid out in draft legislation called the International Broadcasting Innovation Act of 2012.

Bruce Sherman, director of strategic planning at the BBG, joined the Federal Drive with Tom Temin to discuss the plans.
