Air Force, USPS team up to grab cyber crook

A hacker had stolen the credit card information of more the 16,000 users of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service website.

A hacker had stolen the credit card information of more the 16,000 users of the Army and Air Force Exchange Service website. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations and the Postal Inspection Service Identity Theft Task Force joined forces to track him down.

Air Force says their investigation led to the arrest of one man. He’s accused of using other people’s information to buy merchandise from the exchange site and sending that merchandise to the Mexican Mafia.
