Teams are competing for medals in seven sports, including basketball, track and field, archery and cycling.

The Marine team won the first gold medal of the games in a 10K cycling competition.

Winner Lance Corporal Levi Marshall has a traumatic brain injury and limited use of one arm. But he says he is inspired by other Marines who have more severe injuries and are competing along with him.
