Some computer scientists see the president’s executive order on cybersecurity as vindication. Computer scientist and former Navy Seal Jon Iadonisi had been predicting a cyber 9-11 long before former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta used the term. Iadonisi says policy makers need greater digital insights to deal with cyber threats, and now, they may be coming around.
