These days it seems every 10th word military planners use is innovation. On May 19, the public will have a chance to see some real life innovation when the Smithsonian Institution Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation in Washington hosts the military services at the National Museum of American History. They planned showcase examples of today’s most creative military inventions. Federal News Radio’s Scott Maucione spoke with Smithsonian curator for modern military history Miranda Summers Lowe and Lemelson Center Director Arthur Daemmrich on Federal Drive with Tom Temin.
