No matter what agencies do, the government seems to remain stubbornly populated by “mature” workers. Just 6 percent of the the full-time career workforce is under 30 years of age. Regardless of age, agencies struggle with people finding them, hiring them, and retaining them. Margot Conrad, director of education and outreach at the Partnership for Public Service, joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin with some of the latest thinking about strategy.
