Most of the talk on the Hill this week has been concerning the confirmation hearings of Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Thursday. While that is certainly a pressing matter, Congress has other important business it will need to take care of to continue operations into the midterm elections. Just what effect the Kavanaugh hearings will have on that business is anyone’s guess.
