US per diem rates for overseas fed travel far exceed that of other countries

Federal employees who travel abroad have per diem allowances up to twice what other countries allow their employees going to the same places. That’s according to the Center for Public Integrity. Center writer Tik Root joined Federal Drive with Tom Temin to discuss some of the figures he put together.
