Innovation in the federal government

Everyone talks about innovation in the federal government but very few have success stories.  Today’s guest certainly does.  In the studio is Thomas A. Cellucci, PhD, CEO at Ecrypt Technologies Inc.

Dr. Cellucci was the first chief commercialization officer at the Department of Homeland Security.  His was focus was to commercialize emerging technologies and had success under both President Bush and Obama. He has written 24 books and 192 articles.  Top that off with an MBA and a PhD. and you get an expert in helping federal information technology professionals act as change agents.

During the interview, Dr. Cellucci refers to “Invention, Innovation, and Commercialization.”  His experience in founding technology companies has been applied to several federal projects.  He brought his most recent book into the studio “A Guide to Innovative Public-Private Partnerships.”  Listen to the interview to get his insight on how innovation can be applied across the board in the federal government.
