January 6, 2012 — Every year, the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF) releases its annual report on the year’s officer fatality rates.

This year’s report reveals a large increase in the number of officer fatalities during 2011.

This week on FEDtalk, Craig Floyd, chairman and CEO of NLEOMF, joins host Debra Roth to discuss last year’s officer fatality rates and the possible factors that contributed to the increase in the fatality numbers.
