The government must build strong allies, get cyber leaders and develop cyber citizens. Those are the three pillars The Heritage Foundation suggest for strengthening America’s cybersecurity.

Heritage says treating national security cyber competition as just a computer problem is a mistake. Its memo, “Time for America to Get Cyber-Serious” concludes, “The most important thing that public officials, business leaders, and private citizens should do is recognize the scope of the cyber threat and the nation’s current vulnerabilities.”
