Federal News Radio told you last week that the General Services Administration has decided to extend the deadline for the multi-billion dollar Networx telecommunications contract.

Agencies now have another 12 months to submit their transition plans. Agencies have been working to transition to the Networx contract from the FTS 2001 contract for more than three years.
