The departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs certified to Congress that their electronic health records were finally interoperable. That was three months ago. And lawmakers aren’t satisfied with that assertion. As Federal News Radio’s Jared Serbu reports on Pentagon Solutions, they’re looking for more clarity on what “interoperability” actually means.

Worldwide defense spending is on the rise, mainly because nations other than the United States are boosting theirs. That’s the assessment from Deloitte in its annual performance study, according to Retired Air Force General Chuck Wald, vice chairman and senior advisor at Deloitte.
