Daniel Mintz – Chief Information Officer

Daniel Mintz took it upon himself to show the value of cybersecurity to his peers who run the Transportation Department’s mission programs. He developed a matrix grid to help program managers make decisions about what they need to do to secure their systems. Mintz says DOT will test the matrix this summer and hope to implement it across the agency over the next few years. The matrix is one way Transportation is improving its cyber posture.
