NASA attacks cybersecurity from the inside

NASA will begin training its own software developers some cybersecurity training.

NASA is trying to close one of the biggest cybersecurity problems agencies continue to face.

NASA chief information security officer Jerry Davis is giving the space agency’s software developers some much needed cybersecurity training.

Davis says software problems are so common in the private and public sectors that most organizations are at risk from the built in vulnerabilities.

Davis talks to Federal News Radio’s Jason Miller about the steps he’s taking to improve the security of NASA applications.
