Health industry officials are getting the word out about the Declaration of Health Data – an initiative to help patients who are seeking rights to their health data. Some of the items included in the Declaration of Health Data Rights are: the right to a person’s own health data, the right to know the source of each health data element, the right to a complete copy of a person’s heath data and the right to share health data with others as the person sees fit. The declaration was drafted by a team of doctors and industry professionals.
