OMB: Changes coming to IT acquisition

The Office of Management and Budget will detail major changes to the management and acquisition of technology next Thursday.

Vivek Kundra, the federal chief information officer, says the implementation plan set to be released December 9 will lay the groundwork to alter the federal approach to IT for the next five years.
