Next summer the Department of Homeland Security is launching an internship program to help recruit and train the next cybersecurity professional.

Do you want to be a cyber warrior? Now is your chance. Next summer the Department of Homeland Security is launching an internship program to help recruit and train the next cybersecurity professional.

The New New Internet Reports the 10-week internship program is aimed at current college juniors and seniors.

Interns will work with experts on mission areas such as identification, malicious code, forensic analysis, and incident handling.

DHS will start accepting application for the 2012 internship class in early September.
