DC restaurant app ready to launch in NYC

Cherian Thomas, chairman and CEO of Spotluck, explains why Washington, D.C. was the perfect place to launch his restaurant app. He started the company that gives diners daily discounts on local restaurants in D.C. and has expanded to hundreds of restaurants in several states. Spotluck is launching in New York City in February. Diners get the discounts by downloading an app and doing a daily spin to get one restaurant discount per day. Thomas talks about challenges he faced standing up the company in the competitive dining app market.
