Federal authorities say it appears unlikely that two men who were arrested in Amsterdam after a flight from Chicago were plotting a terrorist attack. The men were detained after workers at Dulles Airport in Virginia found suspicious items in their luggage. Officials say those items included a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle and other cell phones and watches taped together. Also found were a knife and a box cutter. Authorities in the U.S. say the men were on their way overseas, when they missed flights to Washington. United Airlines put them on the same flight to Amsterdam. Green, Burton says some things still don’t make sense to him.
