ManTech connects to Afghan wireless contract

It will provide continuous cell phone coverage for operational forces in Afghanistan.

ManTech has landed a contract worth $68-million. The company will build and maintain a cellular communications network in Afghanistan for the Army. The Washington Business Journal reports the network will include both permanent and mobile cell towers located in forward operating bases. ManTech will provide continuous cell phone coverage for operational forces in Afghanistan. The company won $1.2 billion dollars in new contracts last quarter.
