F-35 problem found, grounding lifted

After weeks of being grounded the three late model F-35 Lighting II Joint Strike Fighter test jets have been cleared to fly.

All Grounded F-35 test jets have been cleared to return to the air. The F-35 Lighting-2 Joint Strike Fighter test jets were grounded earlier this month after the failure of two generators and an oil leak during a test flight. DoDbuzz.com reports officials have tweaked their maintenance procedures. Previous procedures were reportedly leaving excess oil in the lubrication system, leading to the problems. The jets had been grounded for about three weeks.
