Health care reform is being driven by many factors, including the worsening health of the population. Many of the health problems citizens have are a result of what they eat. Dr. David Kessler, former head of the Food and Drug Administration, is author of a new book, “The End of Overeating: Taking Control of the Insatiable American Appetite.” We talked about his research for the book, and how policies in the private sector that make Americans want to eat more may impact public policies, including education about bad food choices.
