Douglas Packard has been appointed to the Senior Executive Service for the Defense Department and will serve as the no. 2 official for procurement at the Defense Information Systems Agency, according to a DoD release.

Packard’s new official title is vice director for procurement and vice chief for DISA’s Defense Information Technology Organization.

He previously served as the program manager for oversight and assessment for the Army’s Mission and Installation Contracting Command.
