The National Park Service has dispatched teams of responders to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. But, at the same time, the National Park Service is nearly 100 years old, and is already looking ahead to the next century. We talked about both issues with Jon Jarvis, the Director of the National Park Service. In part two of our interview, Director Jarvis explains the Park Service’s mission over the next hundred years, and what their biggest challenge will be.
