U.S., Brazil reach new military agreement

A new agreement, called the U.S.-Brazil Defense Cooperation Dialogue, is aimed at bringing both countries closer military-wise.

The Pentagon is beefing up ties with the Brazilian military, the White House said.

A new agreement with that country set up an initiative called the U.S.-Brazil Defense Cooperation Dialogue aimed at bringing both countries closer military-wise.

Defense leaders from the U.S. and Brazil will hold their first meeting under the initiative later this month. The two countries are already working together on technology, acquisition and information-sharing.
