Paul: new strategy for Information Sharing Environment

Changes are coming to the ISE, and Program Manager Kshemendra Paul will take suggestions anywhere he can get them.

From “the Center for Strategic and International Studies” web site:

“The Information Sharing Environment (ISE) was stood up as a direct result of the attacks of September 11, and designed to help facilitate the sharing of terrorism-related information among Federal, State, local and tribal governments; foreign partners; and the private sector. In the five years since Congress directed the creation of the ISE, significant steps have been taken towards establishing a strong foundation for this work.”

ISE Program Manager Kshemendra Paul opened an event on the ISE at the Center for Strategic and International Studies on October 5th. His presentation was followed by a panel discussion on information sharing with Russell Travers of the National Counterterrorism Center; Kirit Amin of the State Department; Gil Kerlikowske, Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy; and Bart Johnson of the Department of Homeland Security.
